About Us

WORW is a high school radio station operated out of Port Huron Northern High School in Port Huron, Michigan. We are a self-supporting, non-commercial, student-run station, with occasional talk breaks throughout the day for updates on what is happening in the schools, community, and world.

We primarily play top 40 and contemporary hits. We began broadcasting on September 30, 1981. Since then, the program has continued to evolve and change with technology, becoming automated in 2005, allowing the station to run 24/7 and bring music and information to the community at any time of the day.

We also produce videos of what is happening in the community and our schools which are posted on our website and Instagram. We have produced videos for the community since 2016.
